The Visual Arts Center serves Punta Gorda, Charlotte County, Southwest Florida and beyond, with three major galleries, an extensive arts library and a gift shop of unique, hand crafted items made by our artists. They provide the best art classes, instructors and exhibit opportunities for members and visitors alike. The courses are designed for all ages and skill levels and offer a variety of both classes and workshops throughout the year in all the arts media.
The Punta Gorda Historic Mural Society is a non-profit, 501c(3) organization whose mission is to preserve the rich history of the Punta Gorda, Florida, area through the beauty of mural art. The organization was established in 1994 with the goal of creating historic and educational murals throughout our city. To date, 28 murals have been completed establishing Punta Gorda as one of the leading Mural Towns in the country. Sea Grape is a cooperative fine art gallery located at 113 W. Marion Avenue in downtown Punta Gorda, Florida. The Gallery has been recognized for over 28 years by local and seasonal patrons as the premier venue for high quality art. Over 20 award-winning artists participate in Sea Grape Gallery.
